<head>BIOGRAPHICAL AND HISTORICAL NOTE</head>
<p>Audio cassettes and some transcripts of interviews with 55 Quakers, chiefly born in Chester County between 1889-1910. Interviews contain largely autobiographical data, as well as information about Quaker life in general, recollections of Chester County, and descriptions of farm life and histories of Friends meetings in Chester County. The project was conducted by the Chester County Library District, funded by Chester County Manpower Programs and the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.</p>
